An excerpt:
"At what age each appellation is she?
- Beyond the use of these names, what do they mean for the French? How old is each? The French , when asked the question, consider:
- - a baby boomer is a person about 56 years;
- - an elder is a person about 58 years;
- - is a senior a person about 61 years;
- - a veteran is a person about 68 years;
- - an old person is about 72 years;
- - that an elderly person is someone about 74 years;
- - ... and that was about 76 years old. "

It says more with age
What is this development, what are its characteristics?
"The main differences in reading news based on age: the proportion of daily readers in news pay increases steadily with age among both men than women, while the free press and online media are read by more than 35 years. " (P149).
Let us add that at maturity, men are readers of newspapers and women magazines. The news magazines are read by executives in business and a third of retired executives. 7% of women regularly read celebrity magazine as Here or Closer, which is the fact that 1% of men.
Whatever happens, each generation is growing more than the one before. The proportion of pensioners living in a world without books fell from 15% to 7%. However, the size of personal libraries rose from 164 to 138 pounds on average because of the DVD library and computers. The percentage of French people who bought a book over the last twelve months fell from 63% to 57%. In library, declining enrollments of 15-19 years is offset by the increase in 55 years and older and aging attendance.
"Young people today read less than their elders at the same age as the baby boomers are showing interest in books than that of generations born before the war " (P153)
